A journey through the changing landscapes of the Hampstead-based Indian expressionist painter Lancelot Ribeiro, charting a progression of his work in style, medium and technique. This is the third appearance of the painter's work at Burgh House, where he exhibited first in 1980 as part of the Indian Artists UK collective.

Marsha Ribeiro, daughter of Indian-born artist Lancelot Ribeiro, and David Herman, son of Polish-born artist Josef Herman, compare their upbringing and life experiences as second generation children of distinguished artists with David Glasser. The event will be recorded from the Shaping the Future exhibition at Ben Uri’s Gallery at 108a Boundary Road, St. John’s Wood, London.

'Shaping the Future: New Arrivals' (1 March - 2 June 2023) at Ben Uri will showcase 35 new arrivals to the Ben Uri Collection including Chagall, Kitaj, Mayer-Marton, Narielwalla, Nessler, Ribeiro, Sher, Solomon, Topolski, Ullman and Wolmark.
